Garlic + Bloom | Bouquet Workshop
Craft a bouquet from locally grown garlic and summer blooms. For a second year, we are excited to invite you to a workshop to celebrate the abundance of harvest, generosity of the land, and the people who tend it.
A relational experience of land and community. This garlic seed originated from Broomstick Farm in Bow, WA. It came to Whidbey via Priscilla at Grass Becomes a Wave Farm + Studio, who has been cultivating it for two seasons. It was planted by many hands, harvested in community, cured in the summer heat, and will leave with you to continue to story.
Leave with beauty and connection: Each participant will take home their bouquet with garlic stems and flowers grown by Grass Becomes a Wave knowledge from a local grower, new connections, and a deeper tie to land and community.
Bring your own vase, gloves, or shears if you like. Ages 14+.

Priscilla creates beauty from soil to table. She is a farmer, floral artist, event producer, and community chef. Through her farm, Grass Becomes a Wave, she grows flowers and produce that she sells across Whidbey.
Wellness and care are at the heart of everything Priscilla creates. She also incorporates her flowers into bath and body remedies, hand crafted with mother for Wato Soap.
At the Garlic + Bloom Workshop, she’ll guide you through simple bouquet-making instructions that will inspire you to make your own seasonal arrangements.

This event is offered on a sliding scale to keep it accessible while covering real costs. We invite you to consider the costs and and choose a rate that works for you.
What it really cost: The true cost of this workshop runs about $50–$80 per seat. This honors the farmer's wisdom, labor, materials, venue, and the work of producing a gathering like this. We share that openly so you can choose your rate with full understanding of what goes into the day.
Nurture the Roots ($20–50): For those in a season of rest, recovery, or financial precarity. Your presence adds to the garden and your funds help cover part of the costs.
Tend the Garden ($50–100): For those meeting their needs with relative ease. You cover materials and event labor, and help keep the soil rich for others.
Seed the Future ($100+): For those with abundance to share. You cover true labor costs, support access for others, and seed future gatherings.
Scholarships: A few sponsored seats are available. Email hello@rewildlearning.co to request one.
