You’re invited to two days of High Performance Computing, AI and quantum computing, organised by Equal1 and Fsas Technologies – a Fujitsu company, during InnoWeek 2026 (26 October – 1 November, innoweek.ro). The event is supported by Politehnica University of Timișoara, Banat IT and ABQ, and backs the machine learning and quantum computing programmes at UPT’s Faculty of Automation and Computers.
Monday, 26 October, 18:00 | Keynote and networking
Udo Wuertz, CTO at Fsas Technologies – a Fujitsu company, on the state of the art in HPC and where it’s heading. After the keynote, stay for networking with the speakers and people from industry and academia.
Tuesday, 27 October, from 13:00 | Ideas hackathon
Got an idea that connects HPC, AI and quantum? You have 15 minutes to pitch it. The top 10 teams advance to the final on 27 November at Qiskit Fall Fest, where the prizes are awarded.
Tuesday, after the hackathon | Two technical talks
– Fsas Technologies – a Fujitsu company: diamond spin qubits, technology developed in Delft
– Equal1: electron spin qubits in silicon
