About Event

Welcome to TRIIBE Talk, where we alternate between current and next-gen changemakers sharing insights on one of our key sectors (food, water, shelter, health, and education).

In this TRIIBE Talk, we'll discuss the role of education in supporting future entrepreneurs and philentrepreneurs, especially at a time when the value of education is being called into question.

TRIIBE Talk alternates between current and next-gen changemakers to demonstrate that age doesn't impact the quality of one's perspective, nor the work they're doing to create change.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Cheng Davis (President, Forum For World Education)

  • Ben Christensen (Head of Partnerships, AI 2030)

  • Mahir Laul (CEO, Velric)

  • Jacob Shulman (Founder, Trivium Venture Network)

  • Kyle Matthys (Founder & CEO, TRIIBE) - Moderator

Schedule:

6:00 - 6:30 Welcoming Guests

6:30 - 6:45 Opening Remarks

6:45 - 7:30 TRIIBE Talk: Education

7:30 - 9:30 Closing Remarks and networking

We will have a fully stocked bar, and in Copacabana fashion, the space will open up into a dance floor after the event is complete.

TRIIBE exists to help next-gen nonprofit founders continue their work.
Youth-led organizations receive a fraction of philanthropic funding, and most early-stage nonprofits lose momentum before they ever reach scale.

The biggest drop-off isn’t inspiration. It's structure.
When founders turn 18 and enter college, time disappears, funding dries up, and the support systems that helped them grow no longer exist. That transition quietly ends thousands of high-potential organizations.

TRIIBE is the missing pipeline for social impact.
We operate a fellowship built for nonprofit founders, a clear path through college with the three things early-stage founders actually need: funding, mentorship, and community.

Our cohorts are small by design because we invest deeply.
Each TRIIBE branch has cohorts of five nonprofit founders with real operating experience, each already running their foundation for an average of six years. Several have already been recognized as Forbes 30 Under 30, George Bush Points of Light Fellows, and L’Oréal Women of Worth.
