Warsaw Global Robotics Hackathon
Winter Robotics Hackathon: Real World Deployment, No More Simulation
On Jan 23-25, GenR and Lute are hosting the first of its kind hands-on weekend hackathon in Lute's Warsaw office. You will focus on real-world manipulation, deployment, and evaluation tasks, working with leading robotic platforms.
A) LeRobot Arms Track
Hands-on work with LeRobot-compatible arms, focusing on manipulation, deployment, and data-driven improvement.
Details & exact setup: TBA
B) Exoskeleton Track (with MAB)
Exoskeleton-focused challenge developed together with MAB.
Final proposal and scope: TBA
C) YAM Arms Challenge
A production-style manipulation challenge with shared infrastructure:
Centralized compute node (1× B200-class node) shared via Slurm
25–100 hours of high-quality manipulation data (LeRobot dataset format)
Fixed multi-camera setup (24/7 capture) to standardize the environment
Deployment scripts for consistent evaluation
Exact task definition and metrics: TBA
Partners & Community
University robotics clubs across Europe have been invited. Industry partners are involved in defining realistic constraints and evaluation criteria.
Who Should Join
Robotics students and researchers (manipulation, control, learning)
Teams interested in deployment, not just demos
Participants who want to work with real data, real constraints, and real evaluation
Prizes:
GoPro Max 2
Two Lerobot SO101 arms
2xDAMIAO DM-J4310 motors
Special audience price
Judges: TBA
Logistics:
Participants will be provided with 300 m2 of space to work and camp. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the weekend. Travel grants might be available upon request.
