Visionary Network Presents: The Sight Unseen — A Juneteenth Film Screening Experience
On Juneteenth, Friday, June 19th — The Visionary Network brings the Bronx premiere of The Sight Unseen to Sankofa Haus.
Directed by Shawn Antoine, this film is a portrait of a Black family's faith, resilience, and quiet dignity set against the backdrop of 1970s Bronx a borough in hardship, yet rich in community spirit. The story centers on a cross seen in a window. A sight unseen by many. Deeply felt by those who lived it.
The film has been screened at Columbia University to a room of 450+ people. It has been seen by over 1,000 people over 1 million social media impressions. It has never been shown in the Bronx.
That changes on June 19th.
This is not just a screening. It is a curated Juneteenth evening — an intentional gathering of professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders for culture, conversation, and connection.
THE EVENING
7:30 PM — Doors open. Networking & fellowship begins
8:30 PM — Everyone takes their seats, welcome, filmmaker introduction & film screening.
9:20 PM — Moderated panel conversation with filmmaker Shawn Antoine, DJ SPYNFO (Michael Egan), and special guests.
9:45 PM — Closing social hour
10:30 PM — Event Over
