​Most of us urban dwellers DO NOT. You're not alone.

​As our cities have expanded, a dangerous distance has grown between us and the land that feeds us. The hyper-convenience culture, where a 10-minute delivery app can drop cold-storage apples at our doorstep in May has jolted our basic rhythm with the seasonal cycles - wait! do we even remember that every season comes bearing specific foods?! This disconnect takes a massive toll on both our collective health via systemic adulteration and our planetary systems through fragile, high-emission supply chains.

Led by Kumud Dadlani (Food Culture Researcher & Supply Chain Manager)

​We begin by stripping away the clever marketing separating us from our food's true origin. You will learn exactly what phrases like "100% Natural" or "No Preservatives" are conveniently hiding - giving you a definitive cheat sheet to spot supermarket nonsense. Kumud will also spill insider secrets on the state of quick-food supply chains. Pro tip: Bring a favorite packaged product from your kitchen along...if you dare a reality check!

​🌱 2. The Local & Seasonal Origin
Led by Sumeet Kaur, (Founder, Spudnik Farms)

​Once the corporate veil is lifted, we look at the local alternative. Sumeet, a pioneer of Bengaluru's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) network, will share her journey towards mindful localization & aligning kitchen ingredients with the rhythm of the land. You will also find out why "imperfect-looking" organic produce carries superior nutrition. Be ready to be wow-ed by a long list of current in-season foods of Karnataka that you haven't tried yet!

​🌾 3. The Mindful Tasting Workshop:
Led by Anusha (Curator & Researcher, The Ole Project)

​Drawing from ancestral wisdom, heirloom recipes, and Karnataka’s rich indigenous cuisine, Anusha will ground the day in a guided, sensory comparison of truly regenerative versus toxic everyday produce. Walk away with a framework of sourcing, storing and cooking hacks to preserve nutrients & experience how the vitality of our soil directly mirrors our own physical well-being.
