Maternal Health + Interoperability: A Shared Session with DirectTrust
About the Session
KC Digital Drive and DirectTrust are bringing together participants from their respective maternal health and health information exchange communities for a shared morning focused on improving how critical information moves across pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
The centerpiece of the morning is a joint Maternal Health and Interoperability session exploring how better document exchange can reduce provider burden and strengthen continuity of care. The conversation will draw on findings from the 2026 Maternal Health Plugathon and real-world maternal health use cases, including information exchange between a Federally Qualified Health Center and a delivering hospital.
This session is designed for maternal health leaders, health care providers, health information exchange and technology partners, payers, community partners, and others interested in making maternal health information more useful and available across the continuum of care.
