This might feel familiar:
You have an idea sitting in your notes app that you've convinced yourself requires a technical co-founder, a coding bootcamp, or at minimum someone who knows what an API is
You've watched the vibe coding hype from the sidelines and waited for a version that felt like it was actually for you
You love the idea of building something, you just need it to feel less intimidating and more like a cosy night in with the girls.
Whether you're an absolute beginner or you've vibe coded before - this session is designed to meet you where you are and take you further.
You’ll hear from:
Jess launched her first business at 17, scaling it to 3,500+ customers across three countries. That early experience shaped how she builds today: with commercial instinct, technical depth, and a strong bias toward execution.
With a background in computer science and hands-on startup experience, she works comfortably at the intersection of product and engineering - bringing structure to ambiguity, translating ideas into systems, and moving from concept to working solution with clarity.
About the format:
Most AI events feel like you need to prep for them. This one asks you to show up in your pyjamas and eat cake.
Pyjama Lab is our answer to the overly serious, "you should already know this" energy that follows most tech events around. We're doing it like a sleepover — relaxed, a little chaotic, and way more fun than it has any right to be. You'll leave having actually built your first AI app, with Jess guiding every step and a room full of first-timers doing it alongside you.
Just show up, get cozy, and build something.
Vulnerability: Low ●──○──○ High You can listen. No pressure to share.
Structure: Free flow ○──●──○ Guided Lightly guided with room to breathe.
What the session looks like:
You start by understanding what actually makes a good prompt and unlearning a few things you got wrong
You watch a live demo of vibe coding
You open the tool and build, step by step, at your own pace
Small groups share what they made - you see what's possible, and show what you built
