Ready to Move - Decarbonising Road Freight Report Launch

​Join us at the Port of Tilbury for the launch of a joint policy paper from the Aldersgate Group and the Renewable Energy Association on decarbonising heavy goods vehicles.

​The venue is a working charging hub at one of the UK's most important logistics gateways, where you'll meet the operators running electric trucks every day and the people building the infrastructure that charges them.

​Developed with businesses from across the economy, the paper will set out recommendations to remove the barriers holding the zero-emissions transition back, and to unlock investment in the infrastructure, skills and technologies a competitive low-carbon freight sector depends on. The launch is a chance to galvanise support around HGV decarbonisation, discuss solutions and to be honest about the challenges still to solve.

​The morning includes a demonstration of electric HGV charging, a keynote speech, and a panel bringing together fleet operators, freight customers, infrastructure providers and investors. There'll be time to network over a light lunch, and an optional tour of the dock to finish.
