About Gia: Gia is a parenting educator, a college professor in Child Development, with over 20 years of experience supporting thousands of families here in the greater Los Angeles area. She has her MA in Early Childhood Development and is a mother of two children. Her notable contributions include developing a parenting curriculum for the state of California and establishing the Family Resource Center at Pasadena City College.
Lacey Holmquist - Certified Child Life Specialist; Mom
About Lacey: Lacey has been a Certified Child Life Specialist for almost 20 years. She began working at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital before moving to a community hospital and starting their Child Life Program. While there she helped to create a pain prevention program for the pediatric and PICU units. Lacey is also a child passenger safety technician and instructor with Los Angeles County. At home she is kept busy with her two boys and all their activities.

Rita Ho-Bezzola is an entrepreneur based in Los Angeles with an MBA from the Anderson School of Management. After over 10 years in the Home Furnishings industry, Rita found herself to be passionate on all things children, especially in children’s health, as she embarks on her own journey of Motherhood. As a mother of two girls, 9 and 7, and an enterpreneur by training, she founded Piper+Enza in 2020 inspired by her own experience with the pandemic. Alongside with her co-founders, Rita has made her life long mission to create stories and resources on difficult topics for parents and children everywhere.
