Green Drinks KL: Permaculture and the Future of Food
Permaculture is a design philosophy rooted in a simple premise: that how we grow food reflects how we choose to live.
This July, Green Drinks KL partners with Sunda Shelves to explore what permaculture looks like on the ground in Malaysia, and why it matters now more than ever. Drawing on the principles of permanent agriculture and the wider natural farming tradition — including the work of Masanobu Fukuoka, author of One Straw Revolution — we explore a simple question with our speaker Judy Chua: what would it look like to let nature lead?
From balcony gardens to community food forests, this afternoon is designed for anyone curious about food systems, urban resilience, and the quiet act of putting your hands in the soil.
