When Psychology Meets UX is an event series created for UX designers and product thinkers who are curious about the human side of decision-making and how it shows up in real products.
What you can expect
In this session, Sriram Venugopal from Zalando explores a question that's quietly reshaping the foundations of design: as AI agents mature, they're increasingly acting on behalf of humans, browsing, deciding, and transacting without anyone ever seeing the screen. So if the agent is the one navigating the interface, who are we actually designing for?
Through this talk, Sri unpacks what happens to the user experience when the "user" is no longer just a human, but a human and an agent working together. He looks at the implications of a world where agents mediate our digital experiences, what shifts when the human is no longer the one looking at the screen, and what designers will need to rethink as this becomes the norm rather than the exception.
You will leave with a sharper sense of how agent-mediated experiences change the job of design, the new questions worth asking before you build, and why "who is the user" may be the most important thing to get right in the years ahead.
After the talk, we'll leave plenty of time to hang out, meet new people, and keep the conversation going over pizzas and drinks.
