About Event

Leading up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, private donors committed $45 million to extend the work of the Waterfront redevelopment to the south via the Elliott Bay Connections Project. A major part of this effort involved renovating Myrtle Edwards Park, managed by Seattle Parks and Recreation, and Centennial Park, managed by the Port of Seattle. Learn more about this transformative project, which restored beaches and improved upland habitat, with project managers from each agency. Bring your walking shoes and be ready for the weather in this 45-minute one-way tour and then meander back at your own pace.
