We text. We call. We celebrate birthdays and holidays. But somehow, years pass without us really knowing the people we love any better.
That’s why we built Milna—a new app built to help 1st and 2nd gen immigrants feel closer to their people, culture, and stories.
After a year of conversations, community events, and building behind the scenes, we’re finally ready to share it with Chicago. But we didn’t want to just launch online. We wanted to create a night that actually feels like Milna: joyful, unexpected, full of culture, creativity, and connection.

There’s metered parking and plenty of SpotHero options nearby. The venue is also located near multiple CTA routes and bus stops.
Why is there a ticket price?
Milna is an early-stage startup and community without hundreds of sponsors (yet!). Your ticket helps cover food, drinks, and entertainment, while giving us a more accurate headcount of who’s actually coming.
