Milna started as a Chicago community and event series for deeper conversations. Now it’s becoming much bigger.
We’re launching an app that helps 1st and 2nd gen immigrants feel closer to their family, culture, and community through voice stories and simple rituals.
On July 23rd, we’re bringing the next chapter to life at TeamWorking by TechNexus.
Expect a room full of founders, operators, creatives, community builders, and other people who are tired of surface-level conversations. There’ll be a silent disco, open bar, DJs, live paintings, limited merch drops, games, and more!

Ticket revenue helps us cover the costs of hosting, like food, drinks, music, supplies, and the little details that make the night feel special. It also helps make sure people who RSVP show up.
Do I need to be an immigrant or child of immigrants to come?
No. Milna is focused on supporting 1st and 2nd gen immigrants, but this event is for anyone who cares about deeper connection, family, culture, community, and more meaningful conversations.
What should I wear?
Come as you are, but also feel free to dress up a bit! Comfortable, fun, and elevated.
