Where Does Your Water Come From?

​Do you know where your water comes from? Are you curious what watershed you live in? Do you want to play an active role in caring for the ecologies you depend on?

​Join Learning By Hand on August 22nd for an exploration of our local watersheds with hands-on opportunities to better understand where our water comes from, what creeks flow underneath and around us, how to actively monitor water quality using remote sensing devices, and much more.

​This is a drop-in style event that will run during Rockridge's annual Rock & Stroll event. We’ll have stations set up inside Local Economy where folks can check out maps, models, literature, art supplies, learn about local watershed advocacy and restoration opportunities, see documentation of ongoing projects throughout the Bay Area and Northern California, and sign up for workshops, retreats, and events focused on bioregional resilience.
