Resonance by DOC (Selene Series )

​We see ambient music as one of the most intimate forms a musician can offer. It doesn't demand attention, it sits in the room with you, slowly shifting shapes, asking only that you be present enough to notice.

Something as ignorable as it is interesting, a space to think, to feel, to become. Not a performance, but an atmosphere. A tint laid over the hours.

As the curator behind Selene Series, DOC understands that music organised around natural rhythms does something different to a room. It doesn't just fill space. It gives it a voice. The walls gently hum, the pillow you lean on whispers to sink a little deeper, and the cup of tea on the table shimmers as everything resonates.

DOC moves through sound the way light moves through water; bending, refracting, arriving somewhere unexpected. Based in Amsterdam, his world spans electronic psychedelia, dub, ambient, hypnotic breaks and downtempo: not genres so much as states of being.

We are glad to welcome him at FULI this Thursday the 28th of May, from 19:30 to 22:00 at Koningstraat 15.
