Bioentrepreneurship Night aims to bring together early-career talent, founders, investors, and ecosystem builders for an evening of honest conversations, practical insights, and new connections across the BC life sciences ecosystem.
What to Expect
We kick things off with Partner Pitches. Hear from Louis-Alexandre Fournier of Creative Destruction Lab, Colton Strong of Amplitude Ventures, and Weiqi Li of the Praxis Spinal Cord Institute as they share how their programs support emerging biotech and healthcare founders- and what they’re looking for in the next generation of innovators.
Then, we get the founder perspective. At our Founder Fireside Chat, facilitated by Karina from Nucleate Canada, hear directly from founders who have gone through these programs and are building companies at the intersection of biotechnology, healthcare, and innovation.
Then it’s your turn. The Founder Showcase, facilitated by Tej from Front Row Ventures, will feature a series of 3-minute pitches from founders in our community. Come hear what they’re building, cheer them on, and see what early-stage biotech entrepreneurship actually looks like.
We close with refreshments and time to connect. Meet other early-career builders, founders, investors, and people working across the BC life sciences ecosystem.
