🎙️ Our Speakers:
Peter Walker runs the Insights team at Carta, where he works to make startups a little less opaque for founders, investors, and employees. Prior to Carta, he was a marketing executive for the media analytics startup PublicRelay and led a data visualization team at The Atlantic magazine. He lives in San Francisco, but you can find him on LinkedIn.
Kieran O’Neill is a Principal at Tidal Ventures, where he invests in early-stage B2B and Vertical AI startups. Before joining VC, he co-founded and scaled a venture-backed proptech business called Hometime, leading go-to-market, finance, and strategy. Earlier in his career, Kieran worked at Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Bank, and KPMG, building a strong foundation in finance and professional services. He brings a mix of financial acumen and operational experience to help founders build enduring, defensible software companies.
Liss Mclaren is the Co-Founder and Head of Product at Vinyl, an AI meeting assistant purpose-built for accountants and bookkeepers. Vinyl captures, summarises and syncs meeting notes using AI and publishes the data into accounting practice management tools–helping firms work faster, smarter, and more accurately.
A seasoned product leader, with over 11 years leading teams, she was leading large-scale digital transformation as Group Product Manager at Service NSW, delivering innovative public service products used by 10s of millions across the state.
Known for blending creativity with execution, Liss is a regular speaker on innovation, product thinking, and user-first design. She brings a rare mix of startup energy and enterprise experience–building products that solve real problems, at scale.
