Mothers of Collage : A collage workshop for moms-to-be

​Becoming a mother reshapes everything - your body, your identity, your sense of self. Yet so much of that transformation goes unspoken.

​Mother of Collage is a community art workshop for women in matrescence - the becoming of a mother.

​A space to stop, turn inward, and feel what's happening in your body, then let it land on paper, in the company of women going through the same thing.

What to expect
A room full of magazines, coloured paper, pens, a typewriter, and all kinds of bits to play with. I'll show you a simple example of how to collage what you feel - then you make, at your own pace. No rush, no right way to do it. You'll leave with something made by your own hands, and a couple of hours that were only about you. A warm, judgment-free space -what's shared here stays here.

The workshop is held at De Kust - a cosy art studio in Den Haag (Goudenregenstraat 34E, 2565 EX).

​I'm a service designer with a diploma in Art Therapy & Community Art from Metafora School of Art Therapy. I've spent six years facilitating workshops, and that experience - combined with my art therapy training - is what I bring into the room.
