Call for abstracts! → Abstracts for lightning and chalk-talks:
Like last year, we will be keeping the lightning talks and chalk-talks in the schedule. If you are interested in presenting your workvolunteering for a lightning or chalk-talk, please fill out this form (https://forms.gle/PRJCCJb47UE4KSve8) or reach out to myself, [email protected], or Anupama Reddy, [email protected]. Our committee will select ~6 abstracts for lightning talk participants (10 minutes + 5 minutes of questions), and the remaining will have an opportunity for limitless chalk-talk participation, for the most part. Similar to last year, the chalk talks will be a casual and fun event in which participants are given a white board and marker and attempt to explain their current research projects with only those tools. The chalk-talks are meant to facilitate a fun networking opportunity for all.
Call for sponsors! 🎉:
We are seeking sponsors to support the event. Our symposium and monthly events have seen significant growth, and we anticipate this year's NextGen | Tribix Symposium to attract over 200 participants from a variety of backgrounds as usual.
We have designed our sponsorship opportunity to keep it simple and reasonable. Please see below a brief summary of the sponsorship benefits:
$1,000.00 Sponsorship:
This provides a guaranteed tabletop exhibit space for your company during all three networking segments of our event: the initial networking session, dinner break, and the final chalk talks. We provide the table and additional supplies.
You will also receive shoutouts during the welcome and close out of the symposium.
10 free registration passes
Lastly, you will receive shoutouts on LinkedIn and our listservs of over 300 contacts (local biotech, local academia, and local government contacts) during the advertisement period (from now until the day of the event)
Our goal is that a partnership with the NextGen | TriBix 2025 Symposium will provide a strong return on your investment through enhanced brand visibility and meaningful connections within the North Carolina life sciences community. If you are interested in sponsoring, please fill out this form (https://forms.gle/PRJCCJb47UE4KSve8) or reach out to a member of the steering committee:

Other NGS IEG and TriBix Info
The NextGen & TriBix are grassroots event series that occur each month in the RTP and get together once a year to host the NextGen | TriBix annual Symposium dedicated to fostering and providing a platform for local networking in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) region for life science researchers. We bring together local professionals from a variety of backgrounds (e.g. biotech companies, academic labs, and government research entities) to share their progress and recent advances. This series and symposium is a local event driven by volunteers and provides a unique, targeted platform for direct engagement with a highly relevant audience focused on next-generation sequencing technologies and big data of all kinds. Please let us know if you are interested in discussing any opportunities further or if you have any questions. Please see related links below for NGS IEG and Tribix:
