About Event

We're thrilled to present the Tech Thursday x Garmin Hackathon.

What can you build in 8 hours?

Overview

The goal of this event is to bring back the spirit of early-2010s hackathons: developers, product managers, and innovators together for a full day of hands-on building.

Participants will form cross-functional teams of junior and senior professionals, collaborating to design and build a working app on Garmin's Connect IQ platform. Apps will be built using Monkey C, Garmin's programming language. No hardware or coding experience required.

A Garmin mentor will be on hand throughout the day for technical questions, with a Garmin judge joining for the wrap-up, judging, and networking.

Format: 8 hour hackathon

The winning team takes home $1,000 in cash & Garmin smartwatches. Second place gets $500 in cash.

Your ticket includes lunch, snacks, and beverages throughout the day.
