​About Ambrose

​Ambrose Liu founded Olney Culture Lab in 2014 and currently serves as its project director. Olney Culture Lab nurtures a robust calendar of events, special projects, and partnerships, believing that culture can be a catalyst for community development and social change.

​Their mission is to celebrate cultural assets by designing and producing events and programs that showcase the multitude of diverse expressions found in the greater Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia.

​Ambrose brings a unique combination of skills and experiences to drive the community-centered process of envisioning and leveraging cultural and civic assets towards positive neighborhood development. His background in strategic planning, program design, project management, fundraising, and event production informs all of this work.

​Ambrose is also a practicing musician, composer, and lyricist. He has several albums to his credit, including two under the moniker Joss.

​About Clubfriends

​A personal project created by Alexa Colas to explore moments that move her on and off the dance floor, beyond nightlife, and in conversation.

​At 926 Market St, it is a record store and listening room designed around moments, not music. Its curation is focused on using physical media to share the lived experiences of Philadelphians. Clubfriends is a substance-free space.

​Meantime helps entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives activate vacant spaces in Philadelphia.

​Every empty storefront is an opportunity for building local economies and energizing our neighborhood streets. Their work is about supporting cities as places of face-to-face exchange and cultural production.
