​Sherif Nessim spent more than two decades as a technology operator before becoming an investor. He joined ArpuPlus as an early employee and, over 15 years, helped grow it into the largest regional mobile services provider in the Middle East, ultimately serving as Commercial Director with hands-on experience spanning enterprise solutions, mobile, messaging, cloud communications, financial services, and mobile payments. In 2015 he became an active LP in the A15 tech fund while building deep ties across Egypt's and the wider region's founder, accelerator, and angel networks. He relocated to the US in 2020 and founded Jedar Capital, focused on impact-oriented investing in financial inclusion and wellbeing, access to health services, and digital transformation in retail and logistics positioning the firm as a bridge between the US and the Middle East and Africa. Jedar invests from pre-seed to Series A across emerging and frontier markets, with portfolio companies including Bumpa, Julaya, ImaliPay, Treepz, and Odiggo.
