Take a break from the festival and discover the art of Balkan embroidery. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you'll stitch your own embroidered bookmark inspired by traditional symbols that have been passed down through generations.
No experience is needed. We'll guide you through every step.
You'll create:
A handmade embroidered bookmark featuring one traditional symbol of your choice:
Star: protection & guidance
Diamond: balance & harmony
Eye: intuition & protection
Everything is included:
Pre-cut Aida bookmark fabric
Embroidery thread in your chosen colours
Needle and all materials
A mini pattern booklet with instructions
Needle and thread to take home and finish your piece whenever you like
There's no pressure to finish during the workshop. Stay for as long as you like, then continue at home with your take-home kit.
