------
Why would a bestselling YA author dive into tuberculosis?
Because TB is still the world’s deadliest infectious disease, and its story is weirder, older, and more hopeful than you think.
We’ll unpack Green’s blend of history, science, and sharp-witted storytelling, then ask what it means for public health, policy, and the way we frame “hope”
Don’t have time to read the book?
No problem—watch John Green’s Crash Course mini-lecture and you’ll be ready to join the conversation:

How Our Book Club Works:
We read the book before the discussion session and come prepared with our ideas and perspectives
Our discussions are moderated with thoughtful prompts (which will be shared a few days before the meeting)
Reading the complete book is recommended, but if you can't finish it, you can supplement with podcast discussions featuring the author.
First-timers are always welcome!
