[UI/UX] office hours v0.4
startup founder? stuck on a ux decision, clunky flow, or trying to make your product actually feel right?
come by hello_miami’s UI/UX Office Hours at The DOCK in Wynwood.
this is a casual UI/UX -focused office hours session hosted by fernando boza for founders and builders who want help thinking through:
- design challenges and user flows
- ui decisions, layout, and hierarchy
- making your product feel intuitive instead of confusing
- designing while building (without slowing down momentum)
- what to simplify vs what actually needs polish
- tradeoffs between speed, usability, and visual quality
what to bring
bring your rough screens, half-baked ideas, figma files, or anything that just “doesn’t feel right.” we’ll work through it together.
this is best for founders, developers and engineers who are actively building and want clear, practical design feedback — not abstract theory.
whether you’re shaping an mvp, improving flows, refining usability, or trying to avoid bad design decisions early, this is a good place to get unstuck.
who should come:
founders, builders designing their own product, engineers handling ui/ux, and anyone navigating product design decisions.
what to bring:
context on what you’re building, your biggest design/ux blocker, and any relevant screens, figma files, or demos.
miami builders welcome.
what to expect:
office hours are open group sessions — no appointments needed. just show up and jump in. everyone shares the same conversation, so you’ll also learn from other people’s products and challenges.
about the host:
fernando boza is a miami-based full-stack builder with a strong focus on product and design. he helps founders bridge the gap between building fast and creating products that actually feel good to use. he also co-hosts hello_miami’s hack nights.
