Kick off Thanksgiving at the YWCA Calgary kitchen for a hands-on pie-baking workshop! Presented by Mon Petit Art and UnderBite Baking Co., join us as we share pastry chef secrets to decorative crusts, beautiful crimping, and flavourful fillings.

🧈 Master the Hybrid Crust: Learn what fats give you the best of both worlds: rich flavor with unmatched flakiness, plus the secret to creating structure for intricate designs.
🍂 Practice & Taste First: Craft a mini pumpkin or blueberry pie to practice your dough handling and lattice cuts. We will bake and enjoy them right in class for you to enjoy or take with you.
🍏 Create Your Pie Masterpiece: Build and decorate a stunning 9" scratch-made Apple pie with a crisp, golden crust. We will demonstrate pie florals and braids, and help guide your artistic freedom. You'll bring home your assembled pie ready to bake — or freeze for a special occasion!

Payment: Due upon registration to hold your spot.
Cancellation Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event due to advance food prep and ingredient sourcing. However, tickets are 100% transferable—if you can't make it, you are welcome to send a friend in your place!
Cancellations requested more than 7 days before the workshop will receive a full refund (minus a $10 processing fee).
