Facilitator | Luke Decoste
Luke DeCoste is an Instructor of AI at Dalhousie University and Academic Lead at AI2Market.ca. An entrepreneur and researcher, he focuses on evidence-based approaches to teaching the use of AI in creating new ventures. Luke has built, bought, and sold several ventures, and is an alumnus of Techstars, the Creative Destruction Lab, and the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference. These experiences, alongside his work designing and delivering courses on AI in management for Dalhousie’s Faculty of Management, inform his research on how AI use shapes entrepreneurial decision-making and outcomes. He works with universities and entrepreneurship support organizations to launch AI-enabled training programs. Luke holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master’s in Public and International Affairs, a Master’s in Psychology, and is completing a PhD in Organizational Psychology.
About AI Foundations
The AI Foundation program features eight unique AI-focused training sessions designed to equip SME owners and employees with the knowledge and practical skills needed to remain competitive in an AI-driven economy. Each session is hands-on, interactive, and focused on real-world business applications—from streamlining operations and improving productivity to enhancing sales and customer engagement. Participants will learn directly from experienced AI professionals, entrepreneurs, and founders who will share practical insights, proven strategies, and accessible AI tools that can be implemented immediately in their businesses.
