​Join the Florianópolis hub at Builders DreamVillage for the Apart Global South AI Safety Hackathon!

​Step away from the noise and immerse yourself in a 3-day coliving sprint. Develop context-appropriate solutions for AI safety and governance in Latin America, focusing on technical evaluations, language fairness, or regulatory analysis that addresses the unique challenges of the Global South.

• ​🌿 Experience a new rhythm: Hack and build in a hidden village surrounded by nature on the magic island of Florianópolis.

• ​🤝 Find collaborators: Connect with a curated group of next-gen builders, engineers, and policy researchers.

​🗓️ Schedule Overview:

• ​Friday Daytime: Check-in and settling into the coliving space. Take a breath and enjoy the village before the sprint begins.

• ​Friday 18:00: 🍕 Pizza Night Kick-off. Meet your fellow builders, form teams, and align ideas.

• ​Saturday & Sunday: Hackathon deep work. Code, research, and build your projects with strategic breaks to use the nature gym, decompress areas, and evening fire pit. Project submission and wrap-up on Sunday night.

​🛌 Accommodation: This is a coliving immersion. Participants will have the option to sleep on-site at the village (chalets, suites or shared rooms) to keep the focus and connection strong throughout the weekend.
