​How It Works

​An Open Studio typically involves an introductory presentation by our host practice and meeting the team members and mentors who will be providing feedback to you on your applications.

​Participants will be split into small groups to ask specific questions about their CVs and portfolios as well as engage with their peers.

​We require attendees to bring physical portfolios for richer discussions. Each person will receive feedback for up to 15 minutes.

​Open Studio is (to)scale’s research-led events programme, curating spaces for emerging creatives to connect, learn, and grow within the industry.

​By linking early-career talent with architects, directors and industry mentors, Open Studio helps bridge the gap between education and the professional world in architecture and the built environment.
