About Event

Enteric methane emissions can be reduced through a range of technologies and practices that improve both environmental and production outcomes, provided farmers adopt them. Unfortunately, many proven solutions remain underutilized because the market conditions needed to support widespread adoption are often lacking. While public funding, research, and extension services remain essential, they are not always sufficient to create the long-term incentives required for innovation and adoption at scale. To address this challenge, market-based mechanisms and policy approaches are being applied in new and evolving ways to better align incentives across farmers, innovators, financial institutions, governments, and the private sector.

Clean Air Task Force and Spark Climate Solutions invite you to an exclusive, invitation-only discussion, bringing together experts to explore how these mechanisms can help accelerate methane mitigation in the livestock sector. The session will focus on practical, real-world examples from livestock, agriculture, and other sectors, examining what has worked, under what conditions, and what lessons can be applied to future efforts.
