Abdul Qureshi, Head of Business Banking, Barclays -

Abdul Qureshi serves as the Head of Business Banking at Barclays UK, leading a division of over 4,000 colleagues dedicated to supporting more than one million SME founders nationwide. Since joining Barclays in 2011, Abdul Qureshi has held pivotal leadership roles, including Head of Specialist Propositions, Lending Operations, and Head of Product and Platforms for Business Banking. Abdul’s expertise spans finance, channel management, product development, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on driving innovation and sustainable growth for UK businesses.

A qualified accountant with an MBA from the University of Manchester and executive education from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Abdul Qureshi represents Barclays Group on TheCityUK Next Generation Leadership Council, championing industry causes such as diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), sustainable finance, and tech ecosystem growth.

In 2025, Abdul led several major initiatives, including the launch of the £22bn Business Prosperity Fund to unlock lending and investment for SMEs, and the expansion of Eagle Labs. Barclays’ innovation hubs providing founders with access to incubators, mentoring, and digital learning platforms. Abdul Qureshi regularly hosts and speaks at national events such as the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards, GenAI Skills Day in partnership with NVIDIA, and industry roundtables focused on sustainable finance, agritech, and regional investment.

Adam Henryk Grzywaczewski, Chief Data Scientist, NVIDIA -

Dr. Adam Grzywaczewski is a senior deep learning data scientist at NVIDIA, where his primary responsibility is to support customers in scaling and deployment of their deep learning workloads. Over more than a decade, Adam has specialized in large-scale DNN training, focusing not just on deep learning system and software design, but also on algorithms that allow for large batch data/model/pipeline parallel training. Adam works with customers with high computational needs, including key automotive customers and organizations with the need for large scale NLP and conversational AI. He also leads an EMEA AI team that partners with NVIDIA’s strategic customers to address the challenges of building and deploying deep learning models, while serving as a key interface to NVIDIA Engineering, Product, and Research groups. Adam also focuses on techniques for computationally efficient inference, including parameter/compute efficient model design and model pruning and quantization. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Adam was responsible for building up the UK government’s machine-learning capabilities while at Capgemini, and worked in the Jaguar Land Rover Research Centre, where he worked on the self-learning car project.
