ASGA Call 94: 2026 Guide to ASGA’s Certification for Solar Graziers & Overview of Training Standards

​In 2023, ASGA developed the world's first Solar Grazing Certification to teach the unique bundle of skills essential to this profession, and enable graziers to be recognized as ASGA-Certified Solar Graziers. 2026 brings another full calendar of training opportunities and program enhancements. Caroline Owens, ASGA's Director of Certification Programs will guide us through the highlights, including:

• ​An overview of the Training Standards which detail all topics covered in a certification course

• ​Report pack on how the first 2 years of the training program have gone

• ​A sneak peak at the 2026 locations and dates for certification courses

• ​An update on new program features

​We will also meet two instructors from organizations with whom we collaborate to teach certification courses,Camren Maierle from American Lamb Board, and Dale Caldwell from CFAR (Center for Agricultural Resilience).
