About Event

One company rents the model. One wraps it. One builds its own.

Every AI founder gets asked the same two questions: who actually pays you, and what happens when the labs ship your feature? We put both to three founders sitting at very different distances from the foundation model, and test one thesis: the model is becoming a commodity. The real moat is what gets written into the agent, namely your customer's data, corrections, and know-how.

Speakers

Nelson Chu, Founder & CEO of Superinsight.ai AI that turns thousands of pages of medical records into the expert reports law firms pay for. After acquiring a medical-legal broker this summer, Superinsight is evolving from software vendor into a virtual AI law firm, cash-flow positive and past US$1M ARR.

Chris, Co-founder of Glober AI Ex-Google engineers from the internationalization team who left to compete with Google Translate. Glober delivers brand-aware, culturally precise localization for cross-border commerce, from Shopify catalogs to short-drama subtitles.

Chen-Ping Yu, Co-founder of Atmee.ai A YC alum, Chen-Ping trains Atmee's own avatar and behavior models and puts them behind a consumer product: a YouTube of interactive avatars you can video-call, where creators earn revenue share on their digital twins.

Moderator: Brandon Chiang, Partner at Addin Ventures Brandon leads the fund's investments in vertical AI and works hands-on with its U.S. portfolio, meeting the founders on this stage every month or even week, which is exactly why tonight's conversation goes deeper than the demo-day version.

What We'll Discuss

  • Who actually pays you: vertical AI now competes for the services budget (paralegals, review shops, translation agencies), not the software budget

  • What gets written into the agent: translation memories, attorney corrections, persona memory, and why that is the moat rather than the model

  • Can the agent onboard itself, instead of a forward-deployed engineer?

  • What each founder would build differently if starting today
