《走進巴別塔》放映以及映后交流 「Welcome To Babel」Screening and Q&A
"Welcome to the Babel" has won the Grand Prize for Documentary at the 2024 Sydney International Film Festival.
The film's protagonist, Shen Jiawei, rose to prominence as a youth painter in the cultural revolution years — from selling portraits to tourists in Darling Harbour to winning a prize from the Pope and ultimately becoming a renowned Australian artist.
After more than a decade of dedication, Shen completed the monumental mural "Into Babel"—a three-story, 130-square-meter epic that offers a panoramic view of a century of the international communist movement.
The film captures the memories and perseverance of him and his wife Wang Lan, reflecting the life journeys amidst the turbulence of history.
After the screening, we will connect remotely with director, producer and the artists to share the stories and answer questions.

鏡頭記錄了他與妻子王蘭的回憶與堅守：他們的愛情與藝術，在歷史的波瀾中折射出複雜的命運與信念。
放映後，我們將和導演進行遠端連線，分享創作背後的思考，並現場回應觀眾提問。最後還會留半小時的自由討論，讓大家彼此交流觀影感受。
