Join us for a one-of-a-kind adventure at the Kids Climate Lab, an unforgettable highlight of SF Climate Week 2025! Specially created for curious explorers ages 7–12, this free, hands-on workshop blends excitement, creativity, and practical problem-solving to inspire the next generation of climate champions.
When: Sunday, April 27 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: Angel Island Ferry Deck (Partnered with Earth Day Celebrations in Tiburon, Booth #3 & 4)

Ages: 7–12 years
Your child will discover engaging, interactive activities such as:
✨ Solar Energy Station – Discover how sunlight becomes power! See a real solar-powered car in action, then imagine the future by designing your own solar invention.
🌬️ Wind Power Lab – Build your own pinwheel and experiment with blade shapes to unlock the secrets of wind energy—and learn how small changes can generate big power
🌱 Food Systems Table – Plant your own take-home herb while exploring how food connects to climate—and imagine what a better food system could look like.
🎨 Climate Artists Studio – Use your creativity to make bold, expressive art inspired by real climate solutions. Your ideas can spark real change!
🌍 Junior Climate Leaders – Dive into fun, hands-on activities that explore what it means to lead with empathy, fairness, and climate smarts.
Plus, there’s even more to explore! Local organizations like the Marine Mammal Center will host interactive booths—and there will be a community parade at 11 AM to celebrate Earth Day in style.
All materials are provided, and families are warmly invited to participate together, making it a memorable morning of learning, creativity, and inspiration. You'll also receive engaging pre-event materials to extend the learning experience at home.
