Passport to Possibility: Women Navigating Careers in Tech and Security
VanWiT and WiCyS Western Canada are coming together for an interactive, career-focused event designed for women who want to explore, expand, or reimagine their path in technology and cybersecurity.
This event goes beyond job titles to offer an inside look at a wide range of technical and non-technical roles, including Application Security, Identity & Access Management, Risk & Compliance, Networking, Sales, and Consulting. Through a series of short lightning talks, experienced women professionals will share what their roles truly entail, how they arrived there, the allies who supported them, the obstacles they overcame, and the real joys and challenges of their work.
Following the talks, attendees will receive a Career Passport and rotate through stations led by these experts to have deeper conversations, ask candid questions, and learn more about the real practice of cybersecurity.
