Inside SportsGrad: How members are landing full-time roles in sport - and what's working right now

Free live webinar. 60 minutes. Wednesday 12 August, 7pm to 8pm AEST.

Most people trying to break into sport are Industry-Ready. They have the degree, the passion, the LinkedIn profile with the green #OpenToWork circle. They're sending applications into the void and messages that never get a reply. Their inbox is full of automated rejections and their resume folder has more versions than they can count.

And they're getting nowhere.

The people getting hired aren't more qualified. They're Industry-Wanted. They're already visible to the right people, already trusted, already in the conversation before a role is ever announced. And here's what most people don't realise, Industry-Wanted isn't reserved for people who went to the right university or grew up knowing the right names. It's a pulling power anyone can have, that sets you up for a long, thriving career in sport.

The SportsGrad Method is what carries you there.

Special guests: hear from two people who've lived it

This session, you won't just hear it from me. Joining live:

Dante McDonald, from Cricket Australia. A quick intro on who he is, what he's doing in the industry right now, and how the SportsGrad approach shaped his path into sport.

Mason Torney, from the Essendon Football Club. 7 years in real estate, zero contacts in sport. Used the SportsGrad Method to land a role at the Bombers.

These will be short, straight-talking introductions, a couple of minutes each: who they are, what they do, and exactly what SportsGrad looked like from their side.

Where SportsGrad can take you:

If these kind of results appeal to you, register to see how you can get them too.

Jake Cohen - Team Transport Coordinator, FIFA World Cup 26 (Kansas City). First American to join SportsGrad. 60 applications, 5 interviews, nothing to show for it - "I feel so close yet so far." A couple of months into the Program and learning the method, he landed the role. Now he's on the ground at the World Cup brushing shoulders with likes of Messi and already lining up intros for LA 2028.

Eleanor Noorli - Data Engineer, NBL. Landed a Data Engineer role with the NBL and is relocating to Melbourne from Canberra. Ready to build a career at the intersection of data and sport

James Clark - Corporate Partnerships Manager, Brisbane Bullets (NBL). Already had commercial sport experience, but couldn't get it landing the right door. The Method sharpened how he articulated his value, told his story, and pushed him to network consistently instead of waiting to be found. Landed a Corporate Partnerships Manager role with an NBL club, growing the partnerships book from the inside.

Here's what happens in the session

→ The difference between Industry-Ready and Industry-Wanted, why qualifications alone aren't moving the needle, and the specific actions that make hirers already know your name before they post a role

→ Why the game is rigged and why it's not your fault, including the reason 80% of roles in sport are filled before they hit a job board, and why applying harder isn't the answer

→ A live walkthrough of the three systems inside the SportsGrad Method, the Headhunted System, the Industry Access Pass, and the Opportunity-to-Offer framework

→ The program in detail, the Industry-Wanted Intensive, the 90-day roadmap, the mentors, the coaching calendar, the sparring partner system, and both guarantees

→ Member stories with names, timeframes, and before-and-after, including people who came from corporate, real estate, hospitality, fitness, and zero contacts in sport

→ Live Q&A, bring your situation and I'll work through it with you

Your career. You in?

If you're still telling yourself you'll get serious about sport in six months, don't register. This session won't change that.

Every month you wait, you become more senior in the wrong direction. The job market doesn't get easier as you accumulate experience that isn't in sport.

This session is for people who have decided, or are very close to deciding, that the next 90 days is the move.

If that's not you, save the hour. If it is, register.

Register below. It's free. It's 60 minutes. And it might be the most valuable hour you spend on your career this year.
