Global AI Game Hack
Welcome to the Global Supercell AI Game Hackathon!
Whether you're a game dev eager to finally make your own magic, an AI tinkerer ready to put your passion into play or a gamer waiting for a chance to start building yourself, this is your chance to create, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in games. Two days, make it count with something magical!
The Hackathon has a rolling start to accommodate hackers from all around the world. This means, that you are free to start when the Starter kit goes live or when is best suitable for you.
📅 Dates: February 6-8, from Friday to Sunday. Review until Monday, February 9
🕕 Starter Kit: Friday at 9 AM UTC / 1 AM PT / 6PM JST
🎬 Kickoff: Friday at 6 PM London, Helsinki, SF and Tokyo local time
🏁 Submission Deadline: Sunday 2:59 PM UTC / 6:59 AM PT / 11:59 PM JST

Challenges
Choose one of three paths:
AI-Game
Create a brand-new game using AI at least in the development process.AI-Remake
Take a classic game and reinvent it with AI in the core mechanics. The result must be impossible without AI.AI Tech Open Challenge
Build and demo something cool with AI that connects to gaming.
In this context, AI means GenAI. You may mix traditional AI with GenAI. You may submit to multiple challenges, but can only win in one. All submitted projects are open-sourced and accessible by all other hackathon participants.
Participation
Teams of 1–3 people
No prior experience needed
Each team member needs to sign up individually in luma
Tools from the hottest AI Gaming Startups
Limited spots available to hack from Supercell's offices in SF, London, Helsinki and Tokyo

Prizes
Projects will be submitted and peer-reviewed through Junction’s platform. Top 3 in each challenge will get a shortcut straight to the AI Lab Spring 2026 Application's Interview Phase!
Signing up
All hackathon participants should sign up in luma. If you are in a team and applying for an on-site ticket, only one team member applies on behalf of the entire team, choosing tickets for all members (max 3).
After signing up in luma, join the Discord server where the Hackathon will take place: https://discord.gg/bQ29YpdQ75.
If you applied for an on-site ticket, join the discord and wait for your confirmation. We will handle all applications after the sign-up deadline for on-site tickets has passed. If you are not approved for an on-site ticket, your ticket will be automatically converted to an online ticket.
