Innovation Dinner with TBDC
About this event
TBDC's Sprint Week brings international founders, pre-Series A through Series B, to Canada for structured market entry: enterprise introductions, buyer meetings, and go-to-market strategy. We run a one week immersion in Toronto where the full cohort is on the ground, in rooms, and in meetings. The Innovation Dinner is how we close that week.
We bring together the cohort's founders alongside the operators, investors, and executives who shape the industries they're entering. Previous dinners have included leaders from George Weston Limited, Loblaws, BMO, TD Bank, Walmart Canada, Rogers, and Visa, alongside pre-Series A through Series B companies expanding into North America from across Europe, India, and the Middle East.
For Toronto Tech Week 2026, we're opening a limited number of seats to operators and builders outside our usual network.
The international founders joining us this May are building across aviation and air traffic infrastructure, smart cities and industrial AI, cleantech and decarbonization, waste management and circular economy, construction and housing tech, and wind energy and wildlife AI. Their companies range from AI-driven value chain intelligence for renewable feedstocks to aviation-certifiable digital air traffic control, to vertically integrated concrete 3D printing for large construction and government housing projects.
If you're building, investing, or operating in any of these spaces, or in adjacent categories where this cohort's technology could land, there's a seat worth applying for.
The room is intentionally wider than any single industry. The goal is a cross-section of operators, founders, and capital that reflects the breadth of what gets built in Canada.
