Foto Walk 2026 - Binondo Manila, PH
A photo walk, hosted by your local Foto community host, Mico Medel.
We meet, we walk, we make photos together, no likes or followers involved.
What to expect
You'll spend about three hours walking through Binondo, Manila with other creatives from the Foto community.
Along the way, you'll make photos, take portraits of each other, and talk to people who notice the same light you do.
This year's theme is contrast. Light against shadow, old against new, whatever catches your eye and won't let it go.
“BINONDO IN MONO: Stories in Black & White”
A photowalk through the streets of Binondo, where heritage, food, movement, and everyday Filipino-Chinese life become stories told in shades of light and shadow.
The creative idea would be to move beyond simply documenting Binondo. Participants are challenged to look for contrast, emotion, texture, geometry, gestures, and decisive moments—elements that become especially powerful when color is removed.
The walk ends at a set point, sometimes with food or a drink afterward. No experience needed. Bring any camera you own, phone included.
