Dinner with the Rt Hon Sir Mel Stride MP: The Road to the Autumn Budget

​As part of our mission to make the UK the best place in the world to start and scale a business, we regularly engage with all of the main Westminster parties to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and policymakers.

​At this private dinner, our principal guest is the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer Sir Mel Stride MP, who will open the discussion by laying out his view on the fiscal and business environment ahead of the Autumn Budget. The floor will then open to the entrepreneurs in attendance to share their main priorities, hopes and practical challenges ahead of 26 November.

​The discussion, held under the Chatham House Rule, will touch on investment conditions, routes to growth, tax and regulatory frictions, and what predictability and clarity would look like for scaling companies.
