Unlocking AI for Learning
AI tools are changing the face of learning. In a few minutes you can have deep research on any topic you can imagine. Entire textbooks can be loaded into tools like NotebookLM to create study guides. ChatGPT and Google Gemini can guide you through learning any topic.
But how to you actually do it? What are the right tools and how do you use them? How do you avoid "just getting the answers" when what you need to a guiding hand.
In this hands-on workshop I will teach you how to do all of this and not from a theoretical perspective either. This entire class is based on my direct experience taking classes and doing research. These are the things I learned to help me learn better and sharpen my critical thinking skills.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching people how to use technology—from WordPress websites to podcasts—and teaching is something I truly love to do. I'm also the author of three best-selling books on how to blog, build websites, and use WordPress. Making learning technology fun and interesting is just a part of who I am.
This class is for learners of all ages, academic stages, and skill levels. Even if you haven't done more with AI than just create an image or video, you will be just fine taking this class. This class might be especially helpful for neurodivergent learners—like myself—to experience how new AI tools can tailor learning experiences to how you actually learn.
