​Join us for a delightfully curious Bird Scavenger Hunt inside The Met, where art, birds, and community collide in the best way possible.

​✨ How It Works

• ​Everyone will be paired with a partner — no one will be left alone (promise 🫶)

• ​Each pair will receive a list of birds that appear throughout the Met

• ​Your mission? Wander one designated floor of the museum and try to spot them together

• ​Some birds will be obvious. Some will be sneaky. Some you might think you see… and get totally wrong — and that’s part of the joy!!

​This experience is about curiosity, collaboration, and play, not perfection. You don’t need to know anything about birds. You don’t need to know anything about art. You just need to show up open-hearted and ready to explore.

​💛 Why We’re Doing This

​Birds teach us how to observe, slow down, and stay curious — even when we don’t have all the answers. This scavenger hunt is a reminder that:

• ​Learning can be joyful

• ​Getting things wrong can still be fun

• ​Community makes everything better

​Expect laughter, wandering, “WAIT I THINK THAT’S IT,” and lots of tiny moments of delight.

​📍 Location: The Metropolitan Museum of Art
🗺️ Where: One undisclosed single floor (no marathon museum-ing required!)
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Partners: Assigned at the start — no solo scavenging
⏱️ Pace: Chill, curious, and conversational
