AI Gov Meetup #2: GPAI Code of Practice + Open Discussion

​After a successful kick-off in November, we'd like to this a regular thing, once every 1-2 months. Looking forward to another round of insightful discussions on European and global AI governance.

We'll provide some vegan snacks, feel free to bring some yourself as well.

Like last time, everyone is invited to suggest topics. We'd be keen to discuss:
- General Purpose AI (GPAI) Code of Practice. The second draft was recently released and is open for feedback, and we think this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the EU AI Act, the world's first comprehensive GPAI regulation.
- preparations for the AI Action Summit in Paris (10-11 Feb)
- anything we from aisafety.berlin can do to better support you and your AI gov work? We're happy to talk through career plans, give feedback on proposals, make introductions, and more .

Again, we've invited former and current affiliates from Future of Life Institute, KIRA, GovAI, Rethink Priorities, ERA, MILA, CeSIA, BCG (AI risk & compliance), Merantix, Bitkom and ENAIS. Feel free to invite others as well, if they work in AI governance (directly or indirectly) or have relevant expertise (completed the 50h AISF Gov course or similar level of engagement).
