​About The Hackathon
The Icebreaker's Defence Tech Hackathon is a catalyst to jumpstart a world-class ecosystem that builds sovereign capability in Canada.

Twelve highly capable teams will be competing for prize money and the chance to be crowned the winners of our inaugural event.

​The theme for this Hackathon is dual-use tech that solves real operational gaps for the Canadian Armed Forces, specifically as it pertains to multi-modal sensor data and monitoring in the Arctic.
