When a lawn mower decapitates Jeffrey Franken(James Lorinz)’s fiancé in a freak accident, the med school drop-out saves her head and attempts to rebuild her body piece by piece. With the help of an explosive drug—“super crack”—and the bodies of murdered sex workers, Jeffrey builds his perfect woman(Patty Mullen). But once she's stitched together and revived, she has other plans! One part 42nd street exploitation picture and one part horror-comedy, Frank Henenlotter's Frankenhooker satirizes pre-Giuliani NYC, the ugly truth of feminine beauty standards, and the lengths one man goes to attain the "perfect" woman.
