About Event

Celebrate Pride in Chinatown LA. 💖 The 3rd pride celebration at Chinatown Branch Library, Asian Mental Health Project is proud to present PRIDE AT THE LIBRARY.

An inclusive event for folks of all ages and sides of the spectrum—from confidently queer to shyly questioning— PRIDE AT THE LIBRARY aims to celebrate QTBIPOC community and voices. Featuring authors, drag storytelling, rainbow pickling, and community resources, this is the wholesome Pride event you’ve been waiting for all year long. We can’t wait to see you soon!

FAQs! ✨

What are the COVID protocols?

With the intention of making this event as accessible as possible, masks will be highly encouraged (though not required.) Disposable masks will be available at check in. Please protect your community and stay home if you are not feeling well! Please note that this will be an indoor event.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood, along with flat-rate parking lots around Chinatown LA. There is also a parking structure at 639 N. Broadway.

Can I attend the event even though I do not Identify as Asian?

This event aims to center and uplift the Queer Pan-Asian community, but we welcome folks and allies from all identities and backgrounds to join us!

Is this event ADA compliant?

Yes! There is a ramp that can be used to enter the library. The event is entirely on one floor.

Is this event all ages?

Yes! Please bring your kids, elders, and chosen family of all ages.

Will there be food and drink?

Yes! We will provide small snacks and Gu Grocery will be providing Rainbow Pickling Workshops.
