About your panelists and partner organizations:

Maxx Moses, also known as Pose 2, emerged from the raw and rebellious world of illegal graffiti writing, where breaking rules, taking risks, and trusting intuition became the foundation of his creative philosophy. What began in the streets and subway culture of New York City expanded far beyond traditional boundaries, evolving into an international artistic practice rooted in self-discovery, self-identity, and self-expression. Today, Maxx Moses is an internationally recognized muralist, educator, and cultural practitioner who has traveled to more than 21 countries creating public art and leading workshops that inspire creativity and personal transformation. Guided by his belief that “Every Human is an Artist,” his work bridges graffiti, fine art, community engagement, and ancient symbolism to encourage people to recognize their own creative power. Born in New York City and currently based in San Diego, Daniel Hopkins earned a B.A. in Business with a Minor in Fine Art from State University of New York at Brockport, combining artistic vision with a deep understanding of culture, communication, and community-building.

Leo Xia is a Los Angeles-based men’s mental health facilitator and Alt R&B/Lofi performance artist going by the name Lowhi.

He facilitates weekly men's support groups through his own JinShan Collective as well as Proud Asian Men in collaboration with Asian Mental Health Project. In these groups he navigates conversations about masculinity, culture and identity for Asian men. He created these spaces to combat the global male loneliness epidemic and to support men in creating the life that they dream of through emotional intelligence and communication.

Noel Garcia (he/him) is a professional artist, educator, and visionary in the world of Taiko - Japanese drums, dedicated to using rhythm and movement as a medium for self-discovery, creative expression and healing.

With over 25 years of experience - both in the U.S. and Japan - Noel brings a deep, holistic approach to his work. He founded his own taiko team (Genbu Daiko) in 2015 in San Diego, California. Through his guidance, participants are encouraged to honor Self, embrace their creativity, find harmony with others in togetherness and discover their own unique rhythm - both in taiko and in other facets of life itself.
